CASA-1000 energy project ground breaking ceremony to be held in May 2016

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Tajikistan Parliamentarian headed by Majlisi Namoyandagon of Tajikistan Chairman Zuhurov Shukurjon called on President Mamnoon Hussain in President House here at Wednesday.
As per details, matters related to mutual interest were discussed in the meeting. While talking with Tajikistan delegation Mamnoon Hussain said that Pakistan is awaiting for completion of CASA-1000 energy project because this project will play an important role to further enhance the relations of both countries. President added that CASA-1000 energy project ground breaking ceremony will be held in May 2016.
Talking about the Afghan peace process, President Mamnoon explained that Pakistan is making all possible efforts for a meaningful dialogue between Afghan government and Taliban because peaceful Afghanistan is necessary for the regional security and stability in Pakistan.
Pakistan is desirous to promote friendly relations with all the neighbours including India because Pakistan is sincere to pursue the vision of peaceful neighbourhood. Pakistan wants to resolve all of its dispute with India including Kashmir through dialogues, President added.
Mamnoon Hussain vowed that Pakistan wants to establish close and cordial relations with Tajikistan and Pakistan is ready to cooperate with Tajikistan in different fields including defence.
