British High Commission pays tribute to those who laid down their lives in WW-I

Thomas Drew says we are united in our desire to remember those who laid down their lives in conflicts over the years.

The British High Commission hosted a memorial service on the 99th Anniversary of the end of World War One in Islamabad to pay tribute to those who laid down their lives in the war.

Two minute silence was observed and wreaths were laid during the service.

Speaking on the occasion, British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Thomas Drew said we are united in our desire to remember those who laid down their lives in conflicts over the years.

Members of the diplomatic community, including representatives from Commonwealth High Commissions, European Union member states and representatives from allies from both world wars attended the event.
