Blast in Khyber Agency

PESHAWAR: Khyber Agency has been hit by a terrorist attack on Saturday when a landmine blast targeted the security forces patrolling the area.
A security personnel was killed while three others sustained injuries when a landmine exploded in Khyber Agency on Saturday.
Rescue sources said a vehicle of security forces ran over a landmine, causing explosion in Tirah valley of the Khyber tribal region.
A security personnel died in the blast on the spot whereas three others sustained injuries. The dead body and the injured were shifted to a local hospital.
Sources said that the security personnel were on a routine patrol in the area. Following the blast, the security forces cordoned off the spot and launched a search operation in the area to nab perpetrators of the terrorist act.
