Asif Zardari dims PTI's desire to clinch Opposition leader slot

ISLAMABAD – Former president Asif Ali Zardari met with leaders belonging to Federally Administered Tribal Areas in the federal capital on Tuesday (October 3rd).

Asif Zardari has asked the FATA leaders to block opposition leader replacement bid of Muttahida Qaumi Movement and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the National Assembly.

Sources have reported that the FATA leaders have assured Zardari of their support to not let Khurshid Shah be replaced by Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

The meeting was attended by Bilal Rehman, Shah Gul Afridi, Nasir Khan and Haji Bismillah Khan.

The former president and co-chairman of Pakistan People’s Party was joine by Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, senator Farhatullah Babar, senator Sardar Ali Khan and senator dr Qayyum Soomro among others.
