APHC condemns IOK puppet regime for deploying troops in schools

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The All Parties Hurriyet Conference, while terming the upcoming election drama as mere a military drill has said that tens of thousands of Indian forces' personnel have been deployed to terrify people of the territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC spokesman in a statement criticizing India and its puppet regime for deployment of forces in educational institutions said, "Deploying forces in educational institutions is disregard for education system.

Precious time of students is being wasted by authorities."

The APHC said that extra contingents of Indian forces had been deployed in educational institutions of South and Central Kashmir.

"Despite genuine objection raised by staff and students, the armed personnel are stationed in these institutions," it said.

"Whenever we call for a shutdown against the atrocities of Indian forces, the same authorities raise hue and cry about career of students.

However, they turn their blind eye to deployment of forces in educational educations," the statement added.

Meanwhile, the APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement expressed shock over the loss of property in fire in Awoora area of Kupwara and demanded a probe into the incident which destroyed houses and shops.

Terming the incident mysterious, Syed Ali Gilani said that many agencies were active in the entire territory and their intention to destroy the economy in the area is quite evident to all.

"So locals want to know the cause of the fire," he said and expressed his sympathy with the affected families. "There are so many queries that need explanation from quarters concerned as why the forces cordoned off the said area without any reason and why firefighting tenders were stopped," he said.

What people say is not unsupported and pointless, and their resentment is vindicated till they get satisfactory explanation from the relevant quarters, the APHC Chairman said.

"There are numerous evidences that various secretive means are being employed to create harassment among people," he said, adding, "These ill and evil designs are used to cripple our economy, which remained a prime target for them and look as if they are more active now."
