6th population Census 2017 update

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The 6th population and housing census will start across the country from 15th of next month and it will be completed by the 25th of May.
During the process, Census teams comprising one government official and one army jawan each will go door to door nationwide, Radio Pakistan reported.
The people have been asked to keep handy the CNIC of family head and provide accurate information to census staff as it is their national responsibility.
The census will help in comprehensive policymaking, assessment of day-to-day needs, effective planning at grassroots level, efficient allocation of development funds and good governance through better management.
