68 new proven oil and gas reserves discovered in Pakistan

Oil and gas Exploration and Production Companies have made 101 new discoveries and 944 mmcfd gas added in the system during the last four years.
According to official sources, sixty-eight discoveries, of 101, added proven reserves of about 5.4 trillion cubic feet of gas, while thirty-three well reserves are yet to be explored.
Exploration activities registered around eighty percent increase as compared to four years of the previous government.
Over ten billion dollars foreign investment also poured in the petroleum sector since in 2013, despite low oil price in the international market
