Multan Metro Bus Project to be inaugurated by PM

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is expected to inaugurate Multan Metro Bus Project on Tuesday which has been completed at a cost of over twenty eight billion rupees.
Technical Adviser of the project Sabir Khan Sadozai told our Multan correspondent that the eighteen point five kilometers long track has been constructed where initially thirty-five buses will be plied and approximately ninety-five thousand people are likely to travel daily.
He said escalators, lifts, generators, expansion joints and launching pads have been imported from Europe.
Technical Adviser said that number of buses will be increased if needed and a depot constructed for the buses has enough space for parking of hundred buses.
He said the provincial government will also run shuttles on a feeder route to let commuters reach metro track from different parts of the city.
