Russia, Turkey conduct joint air strikes on IS group in Syria

Russia and Turkey have conducted joint airstrikes against the Islamic State group's stronghold in al-Bab area of Aleppo province.

This was stated by a Russian Army's Lt. Gen. Sergei Rudskoi at a briefing in Moscow.

He said nine Russian warplanes and eight Turkish jets took part in the operation in coordination with Damascus that struck thirty six targets, jointly selected by the two sides.
