Babur-III Cruise Missile to mantain balance of power in region: PM

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif have said that Pakistan believes in peaceful co-existence but cannot remain oblivious to its defence.
He expressed these views on the occasion of successful test fire of Submarine Launched Cruise Missile Babur-III.
In his messages, he termed it an important milestone in journey towards the goal of self-reliance in defence production.
He viewed that the launch of Babur-III was meant to maintain balance of power in the region and it was not against any state.
The missile has a range of 450 kilometres and was fired from an undisclosed location in the Indian Ocean.
The missile hit its target with precise accuracy.
Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat and three services chiefs congratulated all officials involved, on achieving this highly significant goal.
