Islamabad Police woman ASI rewarded for showing courage in PTI Jalsa

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Chuadhry Nisar Ali Khan Saturday awarded Rs 50,000 and a commendation certificate to ASI Farzana Begum of Islamabad police for performing her duty professionally Friday.
The police tried to stop workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) from holding youth convention in violation of Section 144.
The PTI workers pelted stones at the police. ASI Farzana Begum showed bravery and saved a lady constable from the PTI workers and in the process she herself was injured.
While giving award to ASI Farzana, Chaudhry Nisar highly appreciated her for showing sense of responsibility asked other policemen to emulate her for professionalism and sense of responsibility, a press release said.
