Sr. Civil Judge dismissed from service on corruption charges

KARACHI: (APP) Chief Justice / authority has imposed the penalty of `dismissal from service' under Rule 4 (1) (b) (iv) of the Sindh Civil Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rule 1973 upon Mian Fayyaz Rabbani, Senior Civil Judge, with immediate effect on the ground of corruption.
The penalty has been imposed after considering the facts of matter and providing an opportunity of personal hearing, in exercise of the powers under Rule 5 (4) (b) of the Sindh Civil Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rule, 1973, an official statement on Friday said.
According to another order, the Chief Justice / Authority, has imposed the penalty of `compulsory retirement' under Rule 4 (1) (b) (ii) of the Sindh Civil Servants (Efficiency & Discipline) Rule 1973 upon Muhammad Shujaat Mirza, Civil Judge & Judicial Magistrate, with immediate effect on the ground of corruption.
