Ambassador of Belarus calls on CM Shehbaz Sharif    

LAHORE: (APP) Ambassador of Belarus to Pakistan Andrei Ermolovich met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here on Friday.

Director General of a prominent tractor manufacturing company of Belarus Fedor Domotenko was also present.

The chief minister talked to Belarusian delegation in Russian language upon which the members of the delegation expressed pleasant surprise and appreciated the command of Shehbaz Sharif over Russian language.

They said they were pleased to see the chief minister of the biggest province of Pakistan talking in Russian language.

Director General of Belarusian tractor manufacturing company expressed interest in setting up a tractor assembling plant in Punjab and said that his company wanted to benefit from investment opportunities in Pakistan especially Punjab.

The delegation, on behalf of President of Belarus, invited Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif to visit their country.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister said Punjab  had vast opportunities of investment and there was a big potential for investment in agriculture, mining, livestock, industries and other sectors.

Belarus ambassador vow to enhance bilateral trade ties with Pakistan

He invited Belarusian investors to invest in Punjab and assured provision of the maximum facilities.

Shehbaz Sharif also thanked the delegation for invitation  to visit Belarus and said he will do so at the first opportunity.

Belarus President terms Pakistan as sincere friend

Member Punjab Assembly Syed Raza Ali Gillani, Haroon Shaukat of Punjab Investment Board, the secretary Industries and authorities concerned were also present.
