32 cases against Sharif family revealed, many pending since decades: JIT Report

Panama case JIT final report has stated that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), and Exchange Commission of Pakistan forwarded the details of 32 cases to the JIT against the premier and his family.
These 32 cases are spread over time period of decades.
According to the breakdown, the NAB sent details of 28 cases, whereas, the FIA and SECP forwarded two cases each.
The report stated that between the years of 1999-2000, a total of eight inquiries and investigations had been in process, but despite passing of 18 years, these investigations could not progress due to various reasons.
The under process investigations also include the Avenfield properties case and offshore companies, still pending further investigation.
