Pakistan Military General, Brigadier convicted of spying shifted to jail: Sources

ISLAMABAD - Two military officers and a civil officer convicted by the Military Cour have been transferred to the jail on Tuesday.

During the case, the officers were constantly under custody. Two military officers and a civilian officer convicted have been transferred to the jail.

Yesterday the army chief General Qamar Javaid Bajwa had confirmed the imprisonment and execution of the conviction of two soldiers and a civilian officer on charges of spying.

Lieutenant General (R) Javed Iqbal was sentenced to death for 14 years in jail, Brigadier (R) Raja Rizwan and officer of sensitive organization, Dr Vaseem Akram, according to the Military Sector Public Relations ( ISPR link ).

These officers were involved in providing sensitive information to foreign secret agencies, allegations of spying, after which they were given sentences.
