ISLAMABAD – The threatening comments to the JIT team and the Judiciary by the PML-N Senator Nehal Hashmi have opened a new pendora box in the country politics.
Taking notice of the situation, Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has revoked political party’s membership of Senator Nehal Hashmi following his speech to a gathering entailing threats to officials of Joint Investigation Team (JIT) and the judiciary.
The premier served a show-cause notice to Hashmi and according to state minister for information and broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb the PM has sought a resignation off him from senator-ship.
Hashmi was summoned to the Prime Minister House earlier today after he delivered an attacking speech to the JIT members and judiciary over Panama Leaks probe.
