Govt to achieve 7 % growth in coming years: Haroon

ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister's Special Assistant on Revenue Haroon Akhtar Khan says modalities are being worked out for payment of outstanding Sales Tax refunds by the end of May this year.
Talking to a delegation of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association in Islamabad today (Friday), he said government is aware of the need to strengthen manufacturing base to achieve seven per cent growth in the coming years.
Haroon Akhtar Khan said overall growth has been around 11 to 12 per cent during current fiscal year which speaks about the effectiveness of government's packages announced for this sector.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan also met Haroon Akhtar Khan and management of FBR to discuss their outstanding issues and the proposals and recommendations for resolving them.APP/AFP
