KABUL - The presence of Indian ISIS recruits along borders with Pakistan in Afghanistan raises alarm bells for Pakistan.

A group of Indian nationals who were recruited by the militants in ISIS ranks have been killed in an airstrike in Afghanistan along borders with Pakistan, it has been reported.

According to the Indian officials, reports regarding the killing of four ISIS recruits hailing originally from Kerala have emerged.

The police chief of Kerala Loknath Behera has told reporters that the four individuals have likely been killed in a drone strike in Afghanistan.

He has cited preliminary reports received by the authorities and added that the reports could not be verified but investigations are underway in this regard.
