MUMBAI: India's Yuvraj Singh may miss today's India Vs. West Indies Semi Final

MUMBAI: India’s Yuvraj Singh may miss today’s India Vs West Indies T20 World Cup Semi Final due to ankle injury during last match between India and Australia.

If Yuvraj misses the match then India has three options to replace him with Manish Pandey, Ajinkya Rahane and Pawan Negi.

ICC said in a statement “The ICC has confirmed that the Event Technical Committee of the ICC World T20 India 2016 has approved Manish Pandey as a replacement player for Yuvraj Singh in India’s squad for the tournament.”

Pandey last played for India in Australia in ODI.

Pawan Negi is a left arm spinner and good batsman over all and remained the costliest Indian player in IPL.

Indian team skipper MS Dhoni said “I don’t know whether we should make changes but it is possible, depending on the wicket. We have to see Yuvraj’s injury as well. We would definitely like to have a replacement ready if the physio says his injury is bad.”
