Bomb Blast is Chattisgarh India kills 7 security Officials

NEW DELHI: At least seven security officials have been killed by an IED bomb blast in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh India.
The incident occurred near Meewada village which is 12 km away from Dantewada, when the security officials were returning to their base on a vehicle.
Director General of Police DM Awasthi claimed that Maoists rebels were behind the attack who also took away the weapons of security officials after the blast.
He said “It was a massive blast. The vehicle flew several feet up in the air and then landed on the ground in four pieces.”
Injured personnel transferred to hospital for treatment.
Police and authorities reached to the incident point for investigation.
Police claimed that at least 40 kg of explosive was used and five to ten Maoists were involved in the attack.
Chief Minister Raman Singh condemned the attack and claimed to boost operation against Maoists.
He said “I salute the supreme sacrifice of the seven security officials. The attack has strengthened my resolve to weed out Maoists from the state.”
