Nawaz Sharif's aspirations to move abroad faces a blow: Report

*ISLAMABAD* - Former PM Nawaz Sharif aspirations were met with a blow when Punjab Home Minister Shaukat Javed said there are no complications in former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s health condition.

Nawaz’s medical reports don’t suggest any treatment abroad, said the minister.

The former prime minister was shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) after his health deteriorated in Adiala jail on Sunday.

Earlier, medics conducted a check-up of the former premier after he complained of chest pain and advised that he be shifted to a coronary care unit (CCU) immediately, sources said.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has prayed for the speedy recovery of ailing Nawaz.

In 2013, when the PTI chairman fell from a stage during a public gathering in Lahore, Nawaz had visited him in hospital.
