KARACHI - Mutthaida Quami Movement (MQM) Pakistan is likely to support PTI government at federal level, sources have revealed.
MQM says its Rabita Committee will decide about support to Pakistan Tehreek Insaf in the formation of government at federal level.
It was decided after a meeting between the party leaders and PTI leader Jehangir Tareen held at MQM-Pakistan headquarters in Karachi.
Talking to newsmen, MQM-Pakistan Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that mandate given by people to political parties should be honoured and hoped that PTI leader will address the reservations of political parties. He added that the PTI offer will be kept before Rabita Committee meeting, which is scheduled to be held today.
PTI leader Jehangir Tareen said that MQM-Pakistan has been requested to be a part of federal government. He said that major issues of Karachi like drinking water and other problems will be solved on priority basis.
