US and NATO impose severe sanctions against Russia

The United States says it is unified with its NATO allies in the resolve to impose swift and severe sanctions against Russia if it rejects their offer of dialogue.
Speaking in a television program, US Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland said the US administration is working with Congress on a legislation to impose sanctions on Russia if there need be.
