Gold prices register significant increase

The All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) has reported a substantial increase in the price of 24-carat gold, which surged by Rs3,400 to settle at Rs239,800 per tola. Simultaneously, the cost of 10-gram gold experienced a notable rise of Rs2,915, reaching a settlement value of Rs205,590. On the global front, the international market witnessed a $7 hike in gold prices, leading to a settlement at $1,945 per ounce.
In the preceding day's trading, the value of gold demonstrated a similar upward trajectory. The price of 24-carat gold surged by Rs2,900, reaching a settlement of Rs236,400 per tola. This upward movement in gold prices underscores the dynamic nature of the precious metal market, both domestically and internationally.
