US hints at change of policy towards Pakistan through backdoor channels

The intelligencia, former Generals and Diplomats have warned Trump administration against pressurising Pakistan which has been realised in the US administration.
After Pakistan expressed serious reservation over the US president’s recent accusations that the country was providing safe havens to militants, members of the Trump administration have told Islamabad through backdoor channels that Washington wants to maintain its relations with it.The federal government received this message after federal authorities started reviewing its policy towards the US.
Sources said the US wanted to maintain its ties with Pakistan on a balanced level and was ready to address Pakistan’s reservations through dialogue.
