A big breakthrough for Pakistan from Afghan Taliban, confirmed FM Jilani

Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Jalil Abbas Jilani, has confirmed that Afghanistan has informed them about the arrest of Pakistani Taliban members. He made this statement during a news conference in Islamabad on Thursday.
He stated, "As far as media reports related to Afghanistan are concerned, they have mostly been shared with us, and if they are Afghan citizens, we will not demand their extradition, but we would like them to be punished according to the law."
However, he did not provide details about the number or identity of the arrested individuals. Media reports had previously mentioned the arrest of about 200 Pakistani Taliban members in Afghanistan.
Jalil Abbas mentioned, "Pakistan will take all necessary measures for its sovereignty and the protection of its borders, and all options are open for that. I don't want to go into detail on that."
Regarding the recent visit of Pakistan's special envoy, Asif Durani, to Kabul, when asked about it during a question-answer session, the Foreign Minister said, "I have just returned from New York, and I am not aware of the details of the meeting, but the meeting there was quite productive."
The relationship between the Afghan Taliban and Pakistan became strained when, a few weeks ago in Chitral, Pakistani authorities accused Afghanistan of cross-border shelling, resulting in the deaths of four military personnel.
Following this incident, the Afghan Taliban's spokesperson, Zabihullah Mujahid, had informed Independent Urdu that this was Pakistan's internal matter, and Pakistan was responsible for its security.
Zabihullah further stated that they would not allow Afghanistan's land to be used against anyone, and the allegations regarding the Chitral incident were entirely baseless.
