Bomb blast reported in a school in Chitral
*CHITRAL - A bomb blast has been reported in a primary school in Chitral on Sunday.*
The blast occurred at the Government Primary School in Arandu Gol area of Chitral. The school is located in close proximity of the Pak-Afghan border.
Two rooms of the school were completely destroyed in the explosion. However, there were no reports of any loss of life in the school incident.
Last month, twelve schools– eight girls and four boys – were burnt down in various parts of Gilgit-Baltistan’s Diamer district. Though no one had claimed responsibility for the ghastly attacks, but attackers are believed to be militants opposed to girls’ education.
