Pakistan set to open World's largest Gurdwara in Kartarpur
ISLAMABAD - Preparations are in full swing to open the world's largest Gurdwara in Kartarpur.
Federal government has decided to invite star celebrity Navjot Singh Sidhu in the opening ceremony.
Senator Faisal Javed has contacted Sidhu on special direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan and invited him to attend the opening ceremony, which he accepted.
In his remarks, Navjot Singh Sidhu said he is thankful to Prime Minister of Pakistan for inviting him to this historic ceremony.
He said Sikhs from across the world are anxiously waiting to visit the place associated with their spiritual leader Baba Guru Nanak.
He said the construction of Kartarpur and its opening has sent a positive message to millions of followers of Sikh religion.
Navjot Singh Sidhu said he will never forget the love and hospitality he received at the oath taking ceremony of Prime Minister Imran Khan in Pakistan.
On his part, Senator Faisal Javed said Kartarpur is a new symbol of peace and love and it is a gift of New Pakistan.
He said Sidhu is one of the important characters of Kartarpur project.
Faisal Javed said Prime Minister Imran Khan will set a new page of history by opening the Kartarpur on 9th of next month.
