New developments reported in LHC over Maryam Nawaz bail plea

Lahore: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday adjourned hearing of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz's bail plea till tomorrow in Money Laundering and Chaudhry Sugar Mills case, GNN reported.

According to details, the Justice Baqir Najfi heard the PML-N vice president's bail plea.

PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz’s lawyer Amjad Parvez Malik completed his arguments in her bail plea.

The court, while directing National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to complete their arguments on next hearing, adjourned the hearing till tomorrow.

In the petition filed in the Lahore High Court, Maryam Nawaz has raised objections to his arrest.

The petition stated that Maryam Nawaz is being subjected to political revenge and that the anti-corruption watch dog has not found single evidence against her.

Maryam requested the court that she must be released on an interim bail till the decision over her final bail in the case.
