Pak Navy qualifies for next round of World Sailing Championship

KARACHI, Oct 30 (APP): The first Round Robin of 49th CISM World Sailing was completed on Sunday. Top four teams qualified for further competition out of the nine teams.
A press release of Pakistan Navy said here the team of
Norway is leading the group with Russia, Ukraine and Pakistan at
2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively on tie breaker.
In this championship, a total of nine countries are participating
which include Bahrain, Finland, Netherlands, Norway,
Pakistan, Poland, Qatar, Ukraine and Russia. An observer from
Palestine is also taking part.
During the competitions of the first day, 21 matches were
conducted.
On second day, 15 matches were conducted completing a total
of 36 matches in the qualifying round known as Round Robin. All
the countries competed in the races.
