Pakistani Rupee rises further against US dollar in open and interbank Markets

ISLAMABAD: The exchange rate of Pakistani rupee against US dollar Friday gained strength as value of the rupee increased by Rs 0.09 to close at Rs 155.23 in the interbank against the last closing at Rs 155.32, SBP reported.
In open market, the buying and selling rates of Pakistani rupee against dollar stood at Rs 155.3 and Rs 155.75 respectively. In interbank, the price of Euro down by Rs 0.20 and was traded at Rs 170.9 against the last closing of Rs171.1. The exchange rate of Japanese Yen remained flat at Rs 1.41 whereas decrease of Rs 0.67 was witnessed in the exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at
Rs 200.29 as compared to last closing of Rs 200.96.
Exchange rate of UAE Dirham depreciated by Rs0.02 to close at Rs 42.26 whereas that of Saudi Riyal decreased by Rs 0.03 and closed at Rs 41.39 respectively.
