RAWALPINDI: Ex President and Co Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari has telephoned the new Chief Of Army Staff General Qamar Javaid Bajwa.
Ex President Asif Zardari congratulated the new COAS over his appointment on the prestigious post.
Asif Zardari also assured COAS General Qamar Javaid Bajwa about the PPP support to Pakistan Army over the issue of Kashmir against India.
Asif Zardari's call to COAS has emerged as a big surprise for many keeping in mind the track record of the tense relations between the ex President and the military establishment.
