Hizbul Tehrir leader arrested in Karachi by LEAs along with arms and ammunitions

KARACHI: Counter Terrorism Department CTD arrested two target killers including the leader of a banned group Hizbul Tehrir in Karachi. Accused Saham is deputy general manager of K Electric. SSP Usman said. SSP CTD told the media that police has arrested 2 targets killers including a leader of Hizbul Tehrir in the action against terrorists in different areas of city including Gulshan Iqbal, Gulistan e Johar and Eidgha. According to SSP, Hizbul Tehrir leader has been arrested by the police from Gulshan Iqbal. He is appointed as deputy general manager in K electric. Accused Saham is involved in unlawful activities against the state and promote his group in posh areas of Karachi. While police also recovered arms, ammunitions and banned literature from his possession. Accused Saham has been working in K electric since 3 years: SSP added. Meanwhile, two target killers have also has been arrested by police from Eidgah and Gulistan Johar. Police also recovered arms from their possession. Both the target killers were involved in attempt to murder cases. SSP Usman said.
