Iraqi Forces enter Fallujah to retake from ISIS

BAGHDAD: Iraqi Forces launched an assault against ISIS to retake Fallujah from three different sides.

Officials said "An attack by Daesh terrorists in several parts of Heet was thwarted… Now the whole area is under control."

ISIS has planted booby traps in the city to slow down the movement of forces.

Sources claimed that at least 50,000 civilians have been stranded in the city while 3,000 managed to escape from the city since last week.

Syrian observatory claimed that ISIS had killed at least 29 civilians while more than 6,000 have been fled into the countryside.

As per report, ISIS has launched offensive in the towns of Marea and Azaz which is held by rebels.
