Erdogan's loyalist new Turkish PM wins parliament confidence vote

ANKARA: New Turkish Prime Minster Binali Yikldtrim won the parliamentary confidence vote with 315 out of 453

The announcement was made by the parliament  speaker after the polling.

Binali Yildrim replaced Ahmet Davutoglu last week who is a closest ally of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

It is claimed that Binali Yildrim's appointment will be a key point to Erdogan's plan to create a full presidential system in Turkey.

The opposition party raised concerns over the ongoing steps of Turkish President.

Levent Gok of the opposition Republican Peoples Party (CHP) said "We are opposed to presidentialisation of the system . The country cannot be sacrificed to the ambitions of one man."

Earlier, the ex. Premier Ahmet Davutoglu  also resigned after differences with President Erdogan over Turkey's governing system.
