Al-Qaeda Commander killed in Karachi Police encounter

KARACHI: Three Al-Qaeda terrorists involved in several heinous crimes were killed here at Sunday night by Police in the area of Gulshan-e-Bunar Karachi.

According to SSP Malir Rao Anwar , Police conducted raid on the tip-off intelligence to arrest the outlaws but they started indiscriminate firing on police.

In response, further police teams were called at the spot and cordoned off the area as a result three terrorists were killed in exchange of firing with police.

SSP Rao Anwar further revealed that the dead terrorists were involved in attacks on police, security forces as well as sectarianism target killing while they also attacked on LEAs office.

The dead terrorists were wanted by police in several cases while one of the terrorists was identified as Riaz who was also commander of Al-Qaeda banned outfit.

Huge cache of arms and ammunition including automatic weapons, explosive material, advance weapons and a large number of bullets were also recovered from possession of dead terrorists.
