Chief of Royal Air Force visits Air Headquarters

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Chief of the Air Staff, Royal Air Force (RAF), Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen John Hillier Thursday visited Air Headquarters.
Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman received Sir Stephen John Hillier, a PAF press release said.
A smartly turned out contingent of PAF presented him the Guard of Honour.
Chief of the RAF paid homage to the martyrs of PAF by laying floral wreath on Martyrs' Monument.
Sir Stephen John Hillier was introduced to the Principal Staff Officers of PAF. He was also given a detailed briefing on the PAF.
Later on, he called on Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman in his office. Both sides discussed matters of professional and mutual interests.
The Chief of RAF lauded PAF's leading role in the operation Zarb-e-Azb against terrorism.
He also appreciated the high morale and sound professionalism of the PAF personnel.
Sohail Aman emphasized the importance of mutual training and conduct of Operational Exercises between the two Air Forces to benefit from each other experiences.
The Chief of RAF is on official visit to Pakistan.
