Counter Terrorism Department arrests 4 terrorists, foils terrorism bid

PESHAWAR – The Counter Terrorism Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province has foiled a big terrorism attempt in the province with its timely action against the terrorists.
The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has on Friday apprehended at least four terrorists during an operation in Dera Ismail Khan.
On a tip off the presence of terrorists in the area, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) carried out an operation in Dera Ismail Khan and arrested four terrorists.
The arrested terrorists were identified as Muhammad Sajid, Muhammad Nouman and Shahid, who belonged to Dera Ismail Khan, the fourth terrorist was identified as Habibur Rehman who belonged to Bhakkar.
Weapons including prima card, safety fuse, detonators, bullets and two kilogram explosive material were also recovered from the possession of arrested terrorists.
