PNS SAIF visits Port Muscat in Oman

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy Ship SAIF, F22-P class destroyer visited Port Muscat in Oman, during its first Regional Maritime Security Patrol deployment in Gulf of Aden and Southern Red Sea Region.
In a statement, Directorate of Public Relations of Pakistan Navy said the deployment is part of fulfilling international obligations for maritime security and safeguarding national and international shipping by preserving freedom of navigation at high seas.
In order to enhance interoperability with Royal Oman Navy, PNS SAIF will also conduct Passage Exercise with RNOV Ship KHASSAB.
Upon completion of the exercise, PNS SAIF will resume Regional Maritime Security Patrols in the Gulf of Aden.
