JUD led by Hafiz Saeed to be banned in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Ch. Nisar Ali Khan in a media talk in the federal capital after inauguration of an executive passport office said that the Jamaat ud Dawa led by Hafiz Saeed was designated a terrorist organisation by the United States (US) years ago and has been ‘under observation’ in Pakistan since 2010.

More information would be given out in the issue tomorrow, Nisar asserted.

Jamaat-ud-Dawa has been listed as banned outfit in resolution of Security Council of the United Nations (UN) and every state is required to take action, Nisar said.

He added that Pakistan is going to take an action against the outfit now which was pending.

While talking about policies of US President, Donald J. Trump, the federal minister said that his steps would not target terrorists but victims of terrorism.

To link Islam with terrorism is actually the negation of war on terror, he added.
