President Donald Trump's immigration curbs have drawn a global backlash from several countries and criticized the measures as discriminatory and divisive.
Arab League has expressed deep concern over the ban saying the restrictions are unjustified.
Germany Chancellor Angela Merkel said global fight against terrorism is no excuse for the measures and does not justify putting people of a specific background under general suspicion.
French Foreign minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said terrorism knows no nationality and that discrimination is no response.
Responding to the decision, British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson tweeted divisive and wrong to stigmatize because of nationality.
SABA news agency quoted a source at Yemen's foreign ministry said such decisions support the stance of extremists and sow divisions.
