Pakistan among World leading countries to introduce 5th Generation Wireless technology

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan among world leading countries to test and introduce the 5G wireless technology in the country, it has been revealed.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has introduced a draft framework for test and development of future technologies, particularly for 5th Generation wireless networks in the country.
The draft framework for 5G provides for use of radio spectrum on trial basis for non-commercial purposes.
In this regard, the government's policy directive based framework invites all stakeholders to participate in the subject trials.
