Former CJCSC General (R) Khalid Shamim Waynne dies in a car accident on motorway

ISLAMABAD - Former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General (r) Khalid Shamim Waynne has died in a car accident at Chakri near Rawalpindi.
According to a statement by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) the son of former CJCSC <link> got injured in the accident near Chakri.
The accident happened after tyre of the vehicle burst, ISPR mentioned.
