Legendry Shahid Afridi roasts Indian PM Narendra Modi over Occupied Kashmir lockdown

ISLAMABAD - Expressing his solidarity with Kashmiris while observing Kashmir Hour on Friday, Pakistan’s former captain Shahid Afridi once again blasted Indian premier Narendra Modi, saying that the world would remember him as the Adolf Hitler.

Afridi visited mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam at Friday noon in support of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s call for Kashmir Hour. “I am a soldier of Pakistan,” said Afridi while addressing the media.

“First of all it starts with me, how much I am willing to struggle for the Kashmir cause, everyone knows about the atrocities being committed in that region. All celebrities and stars have the responsibility to come forward,” he said.

“Modi will be remembered by the name of Hitler…. My Pakhtoon brothers and tribal men are enough for India,” he added.

Afridi had announced earlier on his Twitter that he would be present at Quaid’s mausoleum at noon on Friday and asked his fans to join him there to express solidarity with the Kashmiris who are suffering at the hands of the Indian government’s barbaric acts in the Indian occupied Kashmir.

“Let’s respond to PM call for Kashmir Hour as a nation. I will be at Mazar-e-Quaid at 12 pm on Friday. Join me to express solidarity with our Kashmiri brethren. On 6 Sep I will visit home of a Shaheed. I will soon be visiting Line of Control,” Afridi appealed in a tweet.

The all-rounder also said that he would visit the home of a martyr on September 6 and would soon be visiting the Line of Control.
