Unimplemented resolutions on Kashmir pose question mark on UNSC’s credibility: Pakistan

Pakistan's Permanent Representative at UN Dr Maleeha Lodhi says unimplemented resolutions on Kashmir are a question mark on Security Council’s credibility and the objective of durable peace in South Asia.

She was speaking in UN Security Council debate on Thursday on maintenance of international peace and security: mediation and settlement of disputes.

Dr Maleeha Lodhi said various UN resolutions have provided that the final disposition of Kashmir will be made in accordance with the will of the people through a free and impartial plebiscite conducted under UN auspices.
