Islamabad High Court gives a blow to PTI

ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has on Wednesday rejected the petition of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regarding party funding case.
The IHC had yesterday reserved its verdict in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) petition against the proceedings pending before the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) regarding party’s foreign funding.
The court rejected the petition of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regarding the party’s foreign funding.
The court also rejected party’s another petition.
The court remarked that the ECP has the authority to check the accounts of any political party.
