Pakistan Foreign Exchange Reserves decline further

KARACHI: Pakistan’s total liquid foreign exchange reserves amounted to $20 billion on Sept 22, down $48.1 million or 0.24 per cent from a week ago, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said on Thursday.
Reserves of the SBP decreased $151m to $14.13bn due to external debt servicing and other official payments.
Net foreign exchange reserves held by commercial banks amounted to $5.9bn on Sept 22, up 1.76pc from the preceding week
