An explosion rocked Kabul city this afternoon leaving at least twenty five people dead or wounded, the security officials said.

The incident took place in the vicinity of Qala-e-Fatullah area of the city with the eyewitnesses saying the explosion was triggered by a suicide attack.

The ministry of interior spokesman Najib Danish said at least five people were killed and twenty others were wounded in the attack.

A security official earlier had confirmed that one person was killed and three others were wounded in the explosion.

The explosion is most likely caused by the ISIS as it has been targeting both civilians and Shia population while Afghan Taliban are targeting the security forces in Afghanistan.
