PML N lawmaker called former PM Nawaz Sharif mentally sick

Lahore: Jalil Sharaqpur, who was ousted from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz for meeting Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, on Thursday slammed former prime minister Nawaz Sharif over targeting institutions and advised him to go for mental checkup.

Addressing a press conference, he condemned the statements made by PML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq and Nawaz Sharif. He said that fiery statements made from the platforms of All Parties Conference and PDM’s Quetta rally are not favourable for both PML-N and Pakistan.

“Besides being physically ill, Nawaz Sharif is also mentally ill,” he said.

He demanded that Shehbaz Sharif or any person, who is better, should be given the reins of the party.

Responding to Nawaz Sharif’s current catchphrase “Vote ko izzat do” [give respect to vote], he said that public voted Imran Khan to power and the PML-N supremo should respect it.

He said that Maryam Nawaz is like their sister but punishment on mistake should be given indiscriminately.
