LAHORE - Senior Investigative Journalist Arif Hameed Bhatti on Monday stated that Islamabad’s air was thick with rumors of introducing national government if the economy deteriorates further.
Mr. Bhatti—while discussing ever-evolving political landscape in his widely-watched show Khabar Hai—stated that ostensibly, it seems that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is the ruler of Pakistan, however, someone else is calling the shots.

Mr. Bhatti further revealed that officials of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) have met incarcerated Nawaz Sharif.
“Matters between Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif settled. Some stuff was shown to both Nawaz and Imran Khan. After which, PM Imran Khan took a 5000-km long U-turn”, stated the senior analyst.
